On the way home there was a stop at the outlet mall for new shoes and some Lego. And a new collection of Hot Wheels provided a pleasant diversion after dinner.
Sunday was our annual family reunion and we assured Sam and Will that there would be other kids there.
The bad news is that not one other kid showed up. The good news is that Sam and Will won every game prize!! Despite being the only kids there and despite the fact that we were confined to the shelter due to rain for part of the afternoon, they made the most of it.
